About Juvéderm

Juvéderm by Qyura is a hyaluronic acid filler produced in France and distributed by the American pharmaceutical company Allergan. It is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, and non-animal sourced cross-linked hyaluronic acid solution.

As Juvéderm is not extracted from animals, it exhibits excellent biocompatibility and stability, significantly reducing the risk of infection post-injection. Additionally, its gel-like hyaluronic acid formulation is naturally smooth and less prone to displacement, making it suitable for filling skin depressions.

In 2016, French plastic surgeons introduced the 12-point lift technique, recommending a single-point injection approach for hyaluronic acid. This method involves direct injections at 12 key points to achieve volume restoration and alleviate sagging, promoting a lifting effect.

Product Advantages

1.Smooth and Natural: Compared to granular hyaluronic acid, Juvéderm hyaluronic acid is like a viscous liquid. Thanks to its patented cross-linking technology, the filler has high expansibility, making it easier to inject, with lower pain sensation. It integrates more easily with the tissues, providing a smooth touch without a granular or uneven feel.

2.Easy to Shape.

3.Longer Lasting Effects: Hyaluronic acid is typically a single-chain carbohydrate that is easily naturally metabolized. Juvéderm hyaluronic acid, however, is in a “cross-linked state” formed by many single-chain hyaluronic acids after cross-linking. This creates a three-dimensional mesh structure, requiring the body more time to metabolize and break down. Consequently, the effects of Juvéderm hyaluronic acid last longer.

4.Less Prone to Displacement: Compared to other brands, the texture of Juvéderm hyaluronic acid is viscous and has strong aggregation. Its higher stability within the tissues makes it less susceptible to being pushed or displaced.

Q&A

The duration varies depending on the injection site and the treatment required. Anesthetic cream is applied for 15 to 20 minutes, followed by the injection by the physician. The time for injection varies based on different dosage requirements, but on average, it can be completed within 10 to 30 minutes.
The effects are immediate, and due to the unique texture of Juvéderm hyaluronic acid, it allows for more noticeable and impactful changes. Consumers often experience a more pronounced and tangible transformation.
The duration of the effects can be influenced by individual factors such as lifestyle, skin quality, and stress. On average, the effects can last for approximately 8 to 12 months.
The products are FDA-certified, and they can be absorbed and metabolized by the human body without accumulating, which eliminates the risk of hardening or cancer. However, it’s crucial to note that the face has a dense network of blood vessels and nerves. If the filler mistakenly enters a blood vessel, it may cause vascular occlusion, leading to severe complications such as tissue necrosis, blindness, or even death. Therefore, selecting a qualified and experienced physician is essential. Additionally, some unscrupulous aesthetic clinics may use unknown or inferior quality products to attract customers with lower prices. Diluted products may also be used to cut costs, significantly impacting the effectiveness and duration of the treatment. It is advised to protect your own rights and choose reputable practitioners.
