Action Principle

StarFormer® uses magnetic stimulation technology to selectively target muscle tissues. Magnetic pulses harmlessly penetrate into the muscle layers causing them to automatically contract. The end result is increased muscle mass.

Key Benefits
  • Safe, quick and easy muscle strengthening
  • Non-invasive
  • Improvement after only a few sessions
  • Walk-in/walk-out procedure
  • High success rate and patient satisfaction
Comparison of muscle building and fat reduction treatments

Fotona StarFormer and IntimaWave treatment uses non-invasive. During treatment the patient remains fully clothed and uses magnetic stimulation

technologyon the slected target of muscle and provide strengthening, toning and firming of different areas of the body. You will only feel the obvious muscle stimulation and contraction during the treatment. There will be no discomfort or pain, so anesthesia is not required, and you can always report to the medical staff if you feel uncomfortable during treatment.

After the treatment, there may be a feeling of muscle soreness , which will return after a few days.

One treatment takes about 20-30 minutes, 2 treatments a week are recommended, and at least 6-8 treatments are required.

The degree of improvement and the frequency of treatment will vary from person to person due to differences in body constitution. A minimum of 6-8 treatments is recommended, and 2-6 weeks after the last treatment, the need for adjustment in the number of treatments can be reassessed.

Home-use EMS muscle stimulators can only stimulate the superficial neuromuscular muscles, and cannot produce intensive and high-intensity muscle contractions. If the electrical stimulation patch does not closely fit the skin or the energy is too high, there will be a risk of burns .

The 30-minute course of IntimaWave is to directly stimulate the muscles in a “short time”, perform 20,000~30,000 ultra-extreme muscle movements, and can maintain stable muscle contractions. It is a general pelvic floor muscle training (for example: Kegel Exercise, Kegel balls) cannot be achieved, and can avoid the problems of incorrect posture and weakness in general pelvic floor muscle training.
